Pink Flamingo Designs was created Decemeber 23rd, 2010 by Mandy B for the sole purpose of displaying an online portfolio of all her photos. Since then she has taken pictures and has over 19 online albums featuring more than 200 pictures.
Mandy currently is attending college in route to getting her Bachelors degree in Photography & Graphic Design.
In April 2011, one of Pink Flamingo's most proud moments was when one of her photos were published in Display magazine, which also included some of Grand Rapids Community College's most talented visual artists.
On May 3rd, Pink Flamingo had 2 featured photos in the "Signs of Spring" photo contest held by Rockford Independent Newspaper. The photos were printed on pages 10 and 11 of the May 3rd, 2011 issue. The winning photos were determined by number of votes on the Rockford Independent Newspaper's Facebook page. One of the photos placed 1st with a tie and the other photo placed 2nd. Thank you to all that voted! We truely appreciate everything you do!
